Gone Mad

Hello my awesome watchers and whomever else is stopping by. I am really excited to have gotten this finished. I didn't sleep last night because I was so excited to work on it. I feel like it's been a long while since I did any Vampire Knight art. I've been thinking a lot about Kuran Kaname recently, you know, mulling over my favorite manga and lamenting it's previous end. I'm still upset about it. AT ANY RATE, I decided I wanted to do a fanart for him and immediately this scene popped into my mind. When I think about it, this seems the only instance where we see Kaname truly happy. So much so, he has tears in his eyes. The first time I read this chapter, I think I reacted the same way Kurosu Kaien did. I really thought he'd lost it for a minute. Such a strange bit of happiness from him. But looking back on it, it's definitely one of my favorite scenes. So, I thought I'd show it some love. 

Looking at this compared even to my last work, I think I've improved a bit, hm?
