This scene really tore at my heart. Imagining how Zero must feel, it made me cry a bit honestly. I'm too emotionally invested in this story. It surprises me because Matsuri Hino's other mangas have so much comedy in them, this one must be difficult for her to do. I know how drained I would be with all the dramatics in this story. She truly is a wonderful artist.
